Junior IT Technician
Hi, I'm Tom. I have a very keen interest in computing and love fixing machines.
Hi I'm Tyrone Once I finished school I worked in a cheese factory up until my first child, Which I then focused on finding a career in IT which was always my desired career. I found an advert at my secondary school as an apprentice which i was successful and that's where my IT career began. During this time i gained my level 3 IT, Software, Web and Telecommunications Professional Diploma while gaining work place experience as a IT technicain. My second child then came and I decided I wanted to progress my career in the business sector so removed myself from being in education, I found Frometech and have now become part of the team and have been very welcomed. My next steps are to progress my career and knowledge by gaining the Microsoft qualifications. Outside of working hours I enjoy spending time with my family and watching films
Hi, I’m Josh. I began training to work in IT at City of Bath College where I completed a level 3 qualification in Computing. This led me onto an Apprenticeship at a local IT support company where I gained knowledge and experience as a 1st line engineer, this gave me the skills required to move into a full time role. At this point I joined Frometech and have continued to develop my skills within Residential and Business support. I am soon looking to complete various certifications to extend this skillset and develop my career.
Hi, I’m Terry. I originally started training as an engineer and after completing a college course in engineering I went through several different industrial sectors. I never developed an interest in technology until I purchased my first computer. After experimenting with the computer and teaching myself basic computer maintenance skills I decided to try to turn this newfound passion into a career. After completing a City and Guilds and NVQ level 3 in computing, I started working in head office for a retail and wholesale company. It was here I put my new knowledge into practice and was put in charge of the EPOS system and computers for the retail side of the business. I also got heavily involved in the running of the retail department working closely with the retail operations manager. After nearly 9 years I decided, I wanted to do something different but still stay in the IT industry. At this point, I found a new Job with Frometech where I work as an IT Field Technician. Since being at Frometech, I have completed several Microsoft qualifications as well as a Google online Marketing qualification and I plan to continue to increase my knowledge in IT. Apart from being a geek outside of work, I also enjoy fishing, sea kayaking and gaming. Thanks for taking to time to read this and hope you have a pleasant experience with Frometech.
Marketing & Admin Manager
Hi, I’m Debbie I have nearly 20 years experience in a variety of administrative roles including the MOD, local government and schools. I’m excited to expand my knowledge working in the IT sector and join a growing business in the local community. I enjoy supporting the team to ensure our customers receive excellent service and the best possible outcome. In my spare time (if I manage to find some!) I enjoy walking, reading and going to stand up comedy shows. I have recently started running and was surprised to discover I can actually complete 5K! I have been very impressed by Jamie’s excellent knowledge, professional manner and efficient service in dealing with my own IT queries, and I look forward to playing a part in providing that service to Frometech’s customers.
Founder / Director
Hi, I’m Jamie I founded Frometech to provide low cost, outstanding quality IT services to the Businesses, Schools and Homes of Frome and the surround towns and villages. Since the launch of Frometech, the business has been growing rapidly, supporting local industry, commerce and home users as far away as Bristol. Frometech is a local company at heart, and thrives on excellent customer feedback, and referrals. My formal education took place at the local Community College, and then on to Norton Radstock college for more specialist education. I started working within the IT sector in 2001, working for a large media company, and over the years moved towards educational technology support. I have planned, installed and managed large networks of over 20 to 600 workstations, and have installed corporate messaging systems such as Microsoft Exchange and Office 365. During that time I have also continued my education and now hold several Microsoft, CompTIA and Google qualifications, alongside learning to play the guitar in my free time! Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope that Frometech can help to fix any problems you may be having.
