Terry Bunt - Technical Operations Manager

Hi, I’m Terry.

I originally started training as an engineer and after completing a college
course in engineering I went through several different industrial sectors. I never developed an interest in technology until I purchased my first computer. After experimenting with the computer and teaching myself basic computer maintenance skills I decided to try to turn this newfound passion into a career.

After completing a City and Guilds and NVQ level 3 in computing, I started working in head office for a retail and wholesale company. It was here I put my new knowledge into practice and was put in charge of the EPOS system and computers for the retail side of the business. I also got heavily involved in the running of the retail department working closely with the retail operations manager.

After nearly 9 years I decided, I wanted to do something different but still stay in the IT industry. At this point, I found a new Job with Frometech where I work as an IT Field Technician. Since being at Frometech, I have completed several Microsoft qualifications as well as a Google online Marketing qualification and I plan to continue to increase my knowledge in IT.

Apart from being a geek outside of work, I also enjoy fishing, sea kayaking and gaming. Thanks for taking to time to read this and hope you have a pleasant experience with Frometech.

Max Feeney - Apprentice IT Field Technician

My Name is Max Feeney, and I am currently the Apprentice here at Frometech. After previously working in Retail and as a Delivery Driver, I not only Fancied a change of career, but also something I could gain a Professional Qualification through.

I Previously aspired to be a Paramedic; after receiving runner up Awards within Bath Pride awards for Heroic Act and Young Person of the Year in the Bath Pride Awards, but decided against this due to the uncertainty of the NHS. I have completed Level 2 and Level 3 ICT BTEC’s at Writhlington, and have a good knowledge of computers and systems through taking apart and repairing computers in my own time.

My hobbies include Vintage Tractor and Stationary Engine Restoration a good few frames of Snooker, Long Distance Marching, survival/bush craft, and of course, computers.

My Interest in computing surrounds mostly the Networking and Telecoms aspect, but taking Computers apart and diagnosing faults is defiantly something I am getting better at.

I Pride myself on Quality of service, so be sure to say hello when in the office.
